What factors should be considered for carbon steel seamless pipe materials?
Carbon steel seamless steel pipe is a kind of long steel material. Steel pipes have hollow sections and are often used as pipelines for transporting fluids, such as pipelines for transporting oil, natural gas, gas, water and certain solid materials.
Compared with solid steel such as round steel, steel pipe has the same bending and torsional strength but is lighter in weight. It is an economical cross-section steel and is widely used to make structural parts and mechanical parts, such as oil drill pipes, car transmission shafts, bicycle frames, and steel scaffolding for construction roofs.

(2) Loading conditions: Structures that directly bear dynamic loads and structures in severe earthquake areas should use Taiyuan seamless steel pipes with good comprehensive performance; structures that generally bear static loads can use lower-priced Taiyuan seamless steel pipes.
(3) Connection method: The welding process will produce welding deformation, welding stress and other welding defects, which may cause cracks or brittle cracking in the structure. Therefore, the requirements for raw materials for welded structures should be stricter.
(4) The temperature and environment in which the structure is located. Taiyuan seamless steel pipes are prone to cold brittleness at low temperatures. Therefore, structures operating under low temperature conditions, especially welded structures, should use killed steel with excellent resistance to low-temperature brittle fracture. In addition, Taiyuan seamless steel pipes with open-air structure are prone to aging, and Taiyuan seamless steel pipes with harmful media effects are prone to corrosion, fatigue and cracking. Different materials should also be selected differently.
