The difference between honed tubes and polished tubes
Honed pipes are mainly used in engineering, metallurgy, plastics, mining, road construction, textile and other industries. The main processing forms of honed pipes are cold rolling, cold drawing and honing. There are usually three types. Today, the editor will mainly introduce to you the difference between honed pipes and polished pipes.
Honing tubes are produced by a high-precision grinding process, not only for round holes, but also for hardened tooth surfaces, which is also a polishing method. It can be used as a combination grinding tool that can be mounted on a floating fixture, making it self-adjustable. Therefore, the shape error of the hole can be reduced, but the geometric error of the hole cannot be reduced.
The polishing tube uses a soft polishing wheel or a disc-shaped polishing disc, plus polishing paste, to achieve a high surface finish of the workpiece after finishing. However, since there is no rigid datum during the machining process, the geometric errors cannot be reduced. However, compared to the honing tube, it can polish irregular surfaces.
