A brief analysis of the reasons why piston rods are often damaged
1. It is possible that the process gas contains a large amount of liquid, which causes the impact of the piston rod and the cylinder fluid, causing it to be broken at the dead center gap.
2. The design of the piston rod's buffer, cylinder and cylinder seat is very unreasonable. It may be that the position of the buffer is relatively far from the cylinder, causing the exhaust gas to not be buffered as it should be. As a result, the cylinder begins to vibrate, along with the piston rod. At this time, the concentricity of the piston rod and the crosshead deviates.
3. When installing the cylinder and the middle body, the concentricity did not meet the specified standards, resulting in an angle between the middle lines of the cylinder and the middle body. The piston rod and crosshead can easily cause bending stress during operation.
4. When processing the piston rod thread, the bottom angle of the thread should be set relatively small.
